International Trade Training for Journalists in Asia

The National Press Foundation is offering a four-day workshop on all aspects of sustainable international trade. Journalists will learn from experts in the fields of foreign direct investment, treaties that shape trade, economic growth, social and environmental impacts, emerging economies, how the World Trade Organization works, China’s unique role, access to research and data, and more. The fellowship includes a field trip.

The training will be held June 17-20 in Hong Kong.

The all-expenses-paid fellowship covers airfare, ground transportation, hotel costs and meals. NPF offers this professional development opportunity for journalists to enhance skills, increase knowledge and recharge their reporting on one of today’s most critical issues. This Journalist to Journalist fellowship is for Asian-based journalists only.

Deadline to apply is Tuesday, March 5, 2019.
